We all know how dangerous it is to work at height. But as safety professionals, it is our duty to ensure that such work is carried out as safely as possible, which is why I was shocked and bewildered, as was IIRSM member Roger Rustrom, to see photographs of work at height being carried out with no regard for safety whatsoever. On a lighter note, Dame Carol Black launched her Health and Wellbeing at Work report yesterday. I went along to the press conference, and it made for an interesting morning. Read about it here
