Claire launched the Tax Conferences portfolio for the division in 2002. After four years of managing the Tax Conferences portfolio, Claire has expanded the range of one-day conferences on offer from its initial 10 events, to 50 events in 2006. Claire works with professional advisors, both internally and externally, to achieve this high number of successful events in all areas of direct tax, indirect tax, accountancy and private client tax issues - serving the training needs of the professional in-house and advisory tax market. A recent addition to the Tax Conferences portfolio is a new series of one-day, tutor led, practical tax courses looking at various different topical direct tax, employment tax, VAT, IFRS and audit issues facing corporates today. |

Chris Jones

Chris is Head of Tolley Tax Training and is also a co-founder of Online Tutors the company that designed and produced the first audio-visual tax learning product which is known as "Tolley's Tax Tutor."
Chris lectures extensively to a whole range of audiences, from district societies to large training-providers and major firms of accountants and has a reputation for designing and delivering first class seminars.
He also advises a range of clients on many tax planning and compliance issues and is a member of the Council of The Chartered Institute of Taxation

Simon Groom

Simon has been involved with the CTA and ATT examinations in some form or another for the last 16 years, ever since sitting the CTA (then ATII) exams in 1990. Initially, he worked for The Financial Training Company lecturing to ATT and CTA students, before taking over responsibility for Tax Training within FTC. At Ernst & Young, Simon was involved in developing the firm's policies with regard to ATT and CTA examinations, and, in particular, the new ADIT qualification. He joined LexisNexis Tolley Tax Training in May 2006. Since July 2003 he has been a member of ATT Council and made use of his training background by becoming heavily involved in the implementation of the ATT new syllabus |

Vicki began working at LexisNexis Professional Education in January 2001 as a Conference Co-ordinator across the division on a range of training products. She moved to concentrate specifically on the GateHouse portfolio as a Conference Producer in January 2002. Her areas of responsibility included the Training and Development course guide and in-company training, as well as conferences, all aimed at NHS professionals. In July 2004 Vicki took on the post of Head of GateHouse Training full-time (having been in the post for 15 months covering maternity leave). The GateHouse approach to training for NHS staff and related professions is customer-focused, high-quality and cost effective.

Stuart joined LexisNexis Butterworths in February 2003 as a Conference Developer within the GateHouse portfolio. In April 2004, he moved over to Tolley ® Tax Training in order to concentrate on the development of the Tax and Accounting CPD classroom seminars. Stuart previously worked for CCH Seminars and now brings his experience to LexisNexis, together with another former CCH employee, Graham Jones, to develop the regional programmes. Over the last two years the number of regional programmes has expanded from 5 to 18 and now more than 1,800 delegates subscribe to the service
