David practises mainly in Commercial Law and Property Law. His commercial practice includes commercial contracts (particularly guarantees), construction of contracts (in which he has particular expertise and experience), jurisdictional and applicable law problems, franchising, intellectual property, confidentiality and passing off.
He has extensive experience of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty cases and is regarded as an accomplished and penetrating cross-examiner. His property practice includes mortgages, landlord and tenant, easements, party wall disputes, restrictive covenants, contracts for the sale of land and associated professional negligence.
He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Caribbean Civil Court Practice which is due to be published by Butterworths in August 2008.
