Pete Miller

Pete Miller is a Director, Business Tax Advisory, in Ernst & Young LLP's corporate tax practice, specialising in the taxation of transactions. He spent the first 10 years of his career with the Inland Revenue, with a number of Head Office policy and technical posts, including being the Revenue's technical adviser on M&A tax issues, company demergers and distributions. Since leaving the Revenue in 1997, he has worked with clients in a variety of industries, advising on the tax issues arising on M&A and private equity transactions, reorganisations and reconstructions, the application of the substantial shareholdings exemption and the 2002 regime for intangible property taxation. Pete Miller is the author of many articles on a wide variety of subjects and is co-author of Taxation of Company Reorganisations (Tottel, 2007)
