Andrew Stilton
Partner, Martineau
Andrew Stilton is a partner in Martineau’s corporate group. Andrew has acted in numerous buy-outs and buy-ins and other mergers and acquisitions including recently acting on the purchase of a regional airport.
He acts for a number of venture capital trusts and other venture capital funds and has acted (both for the company concerned and for the sponsoring brokers) on various flotations.
He is a member of the Law Society’s National Standing Committee on Company Law and chairs various Law Society working parties.
He has been heavily involved with the reform of UK company law which lead to the Companies Act 2006 and is the author of a practitioner's book on mergers and acquisitions "Sale of Shares and Businesses" (published by Sweet & Maxwell in December 2006).
