Karen Hughes advises UK and international clients on the corporate taxation implications of a wide range of commercial transactions. She has experience of tax structuring and implementation in respect of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, joint ventures, demergers, group reconstructions and project finance transactions. She has also advised on tax related disputes and on tax efficient intellectual property planning. Karen has led the London tax group since early 2006. Her clients include SABMiller plc, ITV plc and Barclays Bank PLC
